Here's an easy way to boost the perceived value of your ideas. If you think the other person should be impressed with what you're about to tell them or show them - begin with statement with, "You'll like this..." Telling the person that they'll like something implies that you've already identified their needs and found a way to satisfy them. It gently suggests that you think that they're smart enough to recognize the value that you see. And it taps into a powerful positive emotion - anticipation. Impressive results for three little words.
