Next time you're feeling harried by life's little chores, try this attitude adjustor. When listing your tasks, simply replace "have to" with "get to." "I have to wash my car," becomes, "I get to wash my car." "I have to get groceries" becomes... (you get the idea). It doesn't take much insight to realize that you and I have it pretty good. It being life. Changing one word converts our 'burdens' into blessings. The bonus is you can use this tool to enrich the lives of others. Compare the responses that two parents might get talking with their child. One says, "Tomorrow, you have to go to school..."
